Additionally, Joseph has been awarded the Showcase Design award for an estate he designed in Hillsborough, CA. Joseph’s own magnificent garden, laden with waterfalls, outdoor ‘rooms’, tropical plants, flowers, and interesting artifacts from around the globe, is a popular destination for local civic groups. Organizations such as the Wheaton Junior Women’s Club, the Wheaton Historical Society, the Howard Brown Health Center, the Human Rights Campaign and T-Pan have hosted successful fund-raising events in Joseph’s lavish garden. Joseph Salerno became a burgeoning landscape entrepreneur at the ripe old age of ten. Always at one with the earth Joseph started canvassing for landscaping jobs in his Wheaton neighborhood on evenings and weekends, while in grade school. Joseph later attended both the College of DuPage and the University of Illinois to study horticulture and solidify his landscaping design credentials.
